For the last year the ship’s Electrician,Derik Van Staden, has been working on a project to repair a saw mill in one of the villages of Central Province. It is an undertaking that has brought parts in from all over the world, taken up hundreds of dollars, and – as you will see here – a day filled with bush engineering and perseverance. Spirits were nearly crushed, but see how the engine department on the YWAM PNG doesn’t give up in this week’s installment.
